Journey To Healing and Health

We are taught from a young age to have an implicit co-dependent relationship with a medical doctor. A person sits with a physician and says, Doc, here are my symptoms–give me something to fix it.

Although, this is irrational, it is so pervasive that Homeopathic and Naturopathic doctors have taken on this omnipotent and obviously impossible role as well. It is especially true when the person needs to be an active participant in the healing process. People’s wantdemand for a ‘quick fix’ and demand that someone ‘fix it,’ is so pervasive that Homeopaths and Naturopaths have unwittingly taken on this impossible role without realizing the negative outcome. Homeopaths and Naturopaths need to go back to their roots of being co-creators in the healing process–not the omnipotent healer.

Cancer, the most feared disease and the disease, which needs the most work on the part of the person, has the greatest need for co-healers. Holistic health care providers need to educate their clients that cancer or any dis-ease is not ‘the enemy,’ but rather the consequence of continued violations of natural laws. Because our environment is artificial and we interact with machines rather than nature, we have all but forgotten our bodies are governed by natural laws. Unlike human laws, natural laws are non-negotiable. Suffice to say, planting an orange seed will not yield a pear tree; continued violations of the laws which govern your biology will not yield a healthy body.

The true definition of health is the optimal functioning of an organism. Health is not, as commonly defined by Traditional Western Medicine (TWM), the absence of disease. The absence of disease is like saying that ‘darkness’ is the absence of ‘light.’ Health is the outcome of healthy living. A plan for the restoration of health that is not based on the laws of nature is destined not only to fail, but to disappoint all who follow it.

The immune system has two major functions–the ‘department of defense’ and the ‘department of maintenance.’ When overwhelmed by maintenance requirements–cleaningrepair–the immune system has too few resources left for defense, thus, the development of infections, degenerative diseases, such as, cancer can take hold.

A complete holistic approach to healing cancer includes

o Learning why the person created the cancer. The metaphysical cause of cancer is Deep hurt. Longstanding resentment. Deep secret or grief eating away at the self. Carrying hatreds. A belief–’What’s the use’ What issue was the cancer created to revolve What truth does the cancer want the person to know Healing and resolving these issues on a mind, body, spirit level is imperative.

o The cancer needs to be specifically addressed as a temporary solution rather than ‘an enemy.’

o The immune system needs to be balanced and enhanced. In order for the body to cease being the messenger, metabolic wastes need to be removed through cleansing the colon, skin and internal organs–Homeopathy, botanicals, exercise, fasting and oxidative therapies.

o It is imperative that the nourishment taken in be guided by natural laws and not emotions or deleterious habits. Fresh organic dense nutrient foods that have not been damaged by processing are imperative.

o Other modalities can be selectively chosen without destroying the person’s healthy cells
Such as

1. Insulin Potentiation Therapy

2. High dose intravenous vitamin C

3. Poly MVA

The relationship between healer and the person seeking health is sacred. These relationships define the ‘soil’ in which health can emerge and blossom. In TWM, the relationship between doctor and patient involves the patient ‘handing over’ to the doctor their ‘disease’ and hence the responsibility for its resolution. This implicit pre-conditioned contract is doomed to failure because it is based upon fallacious reasoning and false premises. If the patient is asked to step out of the ‘treating symptoms paradigm’ and commit to undertaking the journey towards health, healing begins.

The power to heal resides within every living organism and not in anything extrinsic to them. The body is designed to heal itself provided it has the proper emotional, spiritual, nutritional, vitamin and mineral supplement support. Healing is a natural, integral and continuous function of living. We need only to restore those conditions necessary for the natural laws to function unimpeded and healing will prevail over disease and other influences.
